At Menotti Enterprise, we’re proud to offer efficient, expert management of construction projects. But what happens when the project is done? Typically, there’s a lot to clean up, including potentially hazardous materials.

A regular cleaning service won’t cut it. We offer a hardworking, expertly trained cleanup crew, equipped with all the tools and chemicals to take care of even the biggest post-construction mess.

Menotti Enterprise’s post-construction cleaning service pays special attention to these common messes:

  • paint and chemical spills
  • dust and debris
  • scuff and skid marks
  • grease stains
  • lumber and stone scraps

We bring state-of-the-art equipment and supplies, such as advanced filtration vacuums and air purifiers, as well as industrial-strength cleaning fluids, to ensure that the construction site is fully clean and ready for business. This includes the following detailed services:

  • wiping and disinfection of all surfaces
  • advanced dust removal from surfaces, crevices, floors, and windows
  • removal of stains due to paint, grease, or other construction materials
  • purification of HVAC systems to remove lingering construction dust or debris
  • and much more!

What sets us apart? We have decades of experience in construction and engineering, which makes us uniquely fit to manage your construction project from start to finish — including cleanup! We know what to look for after a big project to ensure that the site is ready for operations, and we bring only the top talent and equipment to the table. Reach out to Menotti Enterprises today for your post-construction cleaning needs.

Just because your team is done building, doesn’t mean construction is completely over. During the Post-Construction Stage, cleanup and additional testing is required to ensure that the building is safe and ready for the public.

If you’re finishing up the construction phase of a project and require help during post construction to ensure that you’re complying with all risk management practices, Menotti Enterprise can help. Contact our team in New York City to help oversee post construction for your project.

Post Construction Basics

As a building is used over time, the needs and demands of the facility will change. Part of post construction is ensuring that equipment and building components continue to work optimally to meet specific health and safety requirements.

As your construction team evaluates a building project in the post-construction stage, Menotti Enterprise can help identify equipment and building components that need maintenance, adjustments, modifications, and optimizations in order to continue working as needed.

As inspections arise, trust a risk management team that knows what hazards and safety issues to look for during post construction. Contact Menotti Enterprise today to schedule our post construction services.

Deferred & Seasonal Testing

As weather and climate conditions change throughout the year, different equipment and components of a building need to be tested to ensure that they’re working properly for the season. HVAC systems should be tested to ensure that they work correctly before the hottest months of the year, while a boiler system should be tested before winter.

Other testing that occurs during post construction includes deferred testing. Many systems and equipment aren’t tested right away because of prerequisite activities, occupancy issues, and inadequate testing conditions. Instead of being tested right away, these tests are deferred to a later date — often during post construction. As with seasonal testing, it’s ideal for deferred testing of equipment and systems to be completed during the best possible weather and working conditions.

There are many pieces of equipment and building components that fall into either of these categories of testing, and it’s vital to perform all of them to ensure the safety of those using the facility. For assistance with deferred and seasonal testing during post construction, contact Menotti Enterprise.

Final Commissioning Report

After all post construction tasks have been completed, a final commissioning report must be submitted as an official statement that all equipment and building components meet health and safety standards. In an effort to create more accountability within risk management, this final commissioning report must include:

  • A statement that all systems are functioning in accordance with health and safety requirements, as well as the owner’s project requirements
  • A statement identifying any compromises, substitutions, or variances in the final design compared to the initial contract and building plan
  • Any systems or equipment that exceeds the expectations of the project requirements, as well as any that don’t meet requirements and why
  • A summary of all issues with the project, whether or not those issues were resolved, and recommendations to solve any unresolved issues
  • Suggestions for future commissioning reports
  • Recommendations for any future facility design standards or requirements

It’s important for this final commissioning report to be thorough and complete. Menotti Enterprise can help identify the different items that need to be included, as well as offer risk management suggestions to help resolve any existing issues.

Satisfaction Review

In the final stage of post construction, the project manager should hold a review with their client to determine their overall satisfaction with the project. Topic discussions for the final satisfaction review include owner’s project requirements, systems selected, coordination issues, final budget and costs, scheduling issues, facility occupant comments and complaints, issues with documentation of work, and lessons learned by the client and the construction team.

Without the proper experience, it can be difficult to lead this review to receive proper feedback. Menotti Enterprise can offer guidance on holding this review session to improve risk management practices moving forward.
